How to Register and Rates

REGISTRATION RATES AND GENERAL INFORMATION

Online Registration is Closed. Please come the the Registration booths at the conference.

MEMBERS:  You must set up a password before logging in. This conference website is separate from the National APA and APA California websites. While we can transfer all other profile information to the conference site, passwords are not allowed for privacy/security reasons.
 
  • After clicking Online Registration above, click on Register for this event on the next page.
  • Click on forgot password? at the bottom of the page.
  • Enter your six digit APA/APA California member ID number or the email address in your member profile; and, a reset link will be sent to you.
  • You can set up any password you want or the same password used for APA/APA California websites. Note, setting this password will not update our APA/APA California password.
  • Your six digit APA/APA California member ID number is your Username.

RECENTLY JOINED OR RENEWED YOUR MEMBERSHIP?

If you are a new member or recently renewed your membership, your active membership information will not be in our database. Update files are provided to APA California from National APA once a month. In the meantime:

  • Send a copy of your paid membership dues receipt to the attention of Francine Farrell at [email protected] along with the phone, address and email address that is in your membership profile.
    • For information regarding a National APA membership, please contact [email protected].
    • For information regarding a Chapter-Only (CO) membership, please contact Laura Murphy at [email protected].

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • Full conference registration includes all sessions, meals and special events.
  • Single conference registration includes all sessions, meals and special events for the day selected.
  • Student Rates: By registering for this rate, you are certifying that you are currently enrolled full-time or graduating in June 2019. All sessions and events are included EXCEPT for the Opening Reception which is available for an additional fee of $50.
    • Non-member students currently enrolled full time qualify for the Student rates for one day or a full conference. (Does not include Opening Reception)
    • Non-member students:  Register through the Guest link.
  • Miscellaneous
    • Vegetarian options are provided at catered meals during the conference and we make every effort to accommodate special diets. However, APA California does not make any guarantees.

 CANCELLATION POLICY: To cancel/change/transfer your registration email [email protected] by 8/21/2019. Cancellations receive a full refund less a $50 administrative fee. No cancellations are permitted after 8/21/2019 but registrations can be transferred for a $25 fee. To transfer registrations after 8/21/2019, please email [email protected].

GROUP DISCOUNT

One free registration is available for every ten (10) FULL conference registrations from a single public agency or private firm. One-day registrations are not included in the 10 qualifying registrations, and the free registration does not include the additional cost for mobile workshops, pre-conference sessions or event tickets. The minimum 10 registrations exclude student registrations and complimentary registrations included with sponsorship packages. Each agency/company must register their first 9 members online, NOT including registrations included in sponsorships. For the 10th person, complete a registration form noting Group Registration at the top of the form and fax it to (916) 896-1918. The $25 manual registration fee will be waived for the 10th person.

GROUP REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Members: Log in with one Members ID number and password.
    • A password needs to be set up the first time you log into the site. See instructions above under Members.
  2. Non-members: Click on Register as a Guest.
    • The next page will ask if you want to become a member (yes/no question). Make a selection and click Continue.
  3. Fill out the Contact Information for the first person, click Continue.
  4. Make the conference selections, click Continue.
  5. A Summary page will be presented. Click on the Add Another Attendee to This Registration.
  6. Do steps 1-5 for each attendee.
  7. Click on Complete This Registration.
